Faschings Vänner (friends of Fasching) is a non-profit membership association based in Stockholm that supports Fasching, one of Scandinavia’s most prestigious jazz clubs. Since its foundation in 1989, our mission has been to promote live jazz and related musical styles, strengthen the community around Fasching, and contribute to the club’s artistic development.

What We Do

Member benefits: As a member of Faschings Vänner, you receive 25% discount on concerts at Fasching. Other perks include priority ticket purchase for selected events and invitations to exclusive “Stammis nights” (member evenings with concert + dinner) at friendly prices.

Supporting the scene: We help fund projects, improve facilities, support emerging musicians through our annual stipend, and collaborate closely with Fasching’s management to keep the live music scene vibrant.

 

Community & belonging: We believe being a Faschings Vän is more than just attending concerts: it’s being part of something, sharing music, meeting others, and helping Fasching continue as a music cultural home.

Fasching - The Club We Love!

Located at Kungsgatan 63 in central Stockholm, Fasching is more than a jazz club, it’s a bar, restaurant, and concert venue.

​

Since 1977, Fasching has presented over 300 concerts and dozens of club nights every year, welcoming both local talent and international stars. Capacity is about 350 people, making for an intimate live music experience.

 

Fasching is unique in that it is partly owned by both the Association of Swedish Jazz Musicians (FSJ) and by Faschings Vänner, making members real stakeholders in the club’s legacy and future.
